The Cross Asset Monitor (the first section at the top of the Macro dashboard) is your customizable read on everything moving — rates, FX, credit, commodities, crypto, and the major equity benchmarks — in one compact board. Think of it as your personal Bloomberg launch page, dark.

Layout

The monitor is grouped into six category blocks: Equities · Rates · Currencies · Commodities · Credit · Cryptocurrencies Each block is a tight table, one row per instrument. A row shows:
  • Name + ticker
  • Sparkline over the recent window
  • Current price / level — yields render as %, ratios as ×, spreads in bps
  • Change cell, heat-shaded green→red by magnitude, for the active timeframe
A few extras show up where they’re useful:
  • Yields, VIX, and MOVE rows add a point / bps change under the price (not just a percentage)
  • A green ● dot marks a row that’s updating intraday (~15-min delayed); everything else is end-of-day
  • The little chart icon on a row opens the full pop-out — for single names that’s the stock pop-out with its company panel and Ask Aura box
  • Macro instruments (futures, FX, yields, ratios) open the same full-featured chart: Candle / Heikin-Ashi / Line / Area bar types with volume, a Studies ▾ menu (moving averages, Bollinger, RSI, MACD), Log / % scale, a ⊿ measure tool, and Compare — overlay any other dashboard instrument as a %-rebased line so cross-asset moves line up at 0%

Timeframe pills

The row of pills above the board — 1D · 1W · 1M · 3M · 6M · YTD · 1Y — re-scores every change cell to that lookback. Flip to 1M to see who’s actually trending versus who just had a noisy day.

Customizing a category

Every category header has a gear (⚙). Click it to open Customize :

It’s the same editor used by every gear and the page Layout button across auramarkets.

What’s in the catalog

Non-exhaustive, but to give you the shape of it:
  • Equities — US benchmarks (S&P, Nasdaq, Dow, Russell), sector ETFs, and major international indices
  • Rates — 2Y / 5Y / 10Y / 30Y US Treasuries, the 2s10s and 3m10y curve spreads, SOFR, and international 10Y yields
  • Currencies — DXY plus the major and EM crosses (EURUSD, USDJPY, GBPUSD, AUDUSD…)
  • Commodities — WTI, Brent, the Brent/WTI ratio, gold, silver, copper, natural gas, and softs
  • Credit — LQD, HYG, JNK, TIP, and related credit proxies
  • Cryptocurrencies — BTC, ETH, SOL
Your selections are served from our own warmed data store, so adding a commodity, FX cross, or crypto name to a category shows up reliably — no waiting on a live fetch. Prices refresh on the daily cron, with the intraday rows updated through the session.

How most people use it

  • A “regime watch” board — DXY, 10Y, HYG, gold, BTC. When all five move together, regime is shifting.
  • A “single-asset deep dive” board — trim Commodities down to oil and its complex, sit it next to USD and the rate-sensitive names.
  • A “morning checks” board — overnight equity benchmarks, DXY, 10Y, BTC, gold for a 30-second pre-open scan.
