The chart
A clean candlestick chart by default, with the price scale on the right (TradingView-style). The toolbar groups everything into a few tidy dropdowns so it never gets cluttered, each showing a count of what’s active.Timeframes

Bar type
The Candle ▾ menu switches how price is drawn:- Candle — classic candlesticks, with a volume sub-panel
- HA — Heikin-Ashi, the smoothed candles that make trends easier to read
- Line — a simple close line
- Area — the close line with a filled gradient
Studies
The Studies ▾ menu holds every technical overlay in one place:- Moving averages — quick-add SMA or EMA at 20 / 50 / 200, or type any custom period (say
EMA 34). Each wears its own colour and a removable chip, and they stick across the names you open. - Bollinger Bands — 20-period, 2σ band edges
- VWAP — anchored volume-weighted average price from the window start
- RSI — 14-period, in its own sub-panel with 30/70 guides
- MACD — 12/26/9 histogram + MACD/signal lines, in its own sub-panel
- Drawdown — an “underwater” sub-panel showing how far price sits below its running peak (high-water mark), filled red with the waterline pinned at the top; the depth auto-scales to whatever window you’re viewing
Markers
The Markers ▾ menu drops event flags right on the price:- Calls — your tracked writers’ entries as ▲ long / ▼ short, anchored to the bar they called; hover any marker for the writer, date, and return (same-day calls stack into one popup)
- Earnings — quarterly report flags carrying the reported EPS
- Dividends — ex-dividend dates and per-share amounts
- 13F — quarterly F flags for when the big institutional funds we track bought or sold the name, coloured green / red / grey for net buy / sell / mixed. Hover one for that quarter’s funds and each fund’s change, plus the stock’s return since that 13F as of the latest price. (On by default.)
Scale & compare
- Log / % — flip the price axis to logarithmic, or to % change from the window start (so a multi-ticker comparison all lines up at 0%)
- Compare — type any US-listed ticker to overlay it; add several, each a coloured chip you can remove, and switch between separate price axes or a shared one
Navigating the chart
It moves the way you’d expect a real chart to:- Scroll to zoom toward your cursor
- Drag the time axis left/right to expand or contract the window (it follows your pull)
- Drag the chart to pan freely; double-click the price axis to refit, double-click the chart to reset to the full range
- Hover for a crosshair with the full OHLC, volume, and Δ% readout
- ⊿ Measure — drag between two points for the Δ price, Δ%, and number of bars / days
Snapshot, share & export
Up in the header:- Share — download the chart as a branded PNG, copy that image straight to your clipboard, grab a share link that reopens the exact view (ticker, timeframe, studies, scale, compares), or export the visible OHLC to CSV
- Fullscreen — expand the pop-out to fill the screen
- TradingView — pull the name up in TradingView if you’d rather work there

In the Research
This is where the pop-out plugs into the Writers corpus. When your tracked writers have weighed in on the name, you get:- A one-line pulse — open
▲ long / ▼ shortcalls, how many writers, and how many recent mentions - The calls — each with its direction, the writer (and their track-record badge), its P&L since the call (signed for shorts, alongside the alpha vs SPY) as of the latest price, the evidencing quote, and how many times they’ve reaffirmed it. A brand-new call that hasn’t seen a full session yet reads new rather than a flat 0%.
- Recent mentions — the latest pieces about this name across Substack, YouTube, and X
13F activity
If the institutional funds we track have moved on the name, the panel also shows the latest quarter’s buys and sells — who bought, who sold, and the stock’s return since that 13F — right under the research calls. Hover it to spotlight the F flag on the chart, with a guideline dropped down to the price, and click 13F activity ↗ to jump straight to the name’s full per-fund breakdown on the 13F page.Ask Aura
Pinned to the bottom of the panel is an Ask Aura box — ask anything about the name (or markets in general) without leaving the chart. It already knows which ticker you’re looking at, so “what’s the bull case?” or “why is it moving today?” just work. It’s the same engine as the full AskAura — streaming answers with cited sources, a deep toggle for heavier research, and multi-turn follow-ups.See also
