# Welcome to auramarkets

> A market intelligence system: live dashboards, a research corpus that reads everything you follow, writer track records, and a daily synthesis built around your positions.

auramarkets is a **market intelligence system** — not another dashboard with quotes on it.

The idea: the inputs that actually drive your thinking are scattered across a dozen places. Prices and vol live on one screen, macro context on another, the sharpest research is buried in Substack posts, X threads, YouTube interviews, and subscriber chats — and none of it knows what you own. auramarkets pulls all of it into **one system where the pieces talk to each other**, and then points the whole thing at *your* positions.

## The loop

Everything on the site is one flywheel:

<Steps>
  <Step title="Ingest — everything you'd want to read, read for you">
    Every day the system ingests **Substack** (free and paid — full archives *and* subscriber chats), **X**, and **YouTube** from curated writers. Each piece is fully read: thesis extracted, tickers tagged, claims pulled out, embedded for semantic search. Hundreds of pieces become a **queryable research memory** instead of a firehose you feel guilty about.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Score — opinions become track records">
    Every directional take becomes a **tracked call** — entered at the price when the writer said it, scored against SPY ever since. Over time that produces something no feed gives you: **who's actually been right**, who's loud, and who's a reliable contrary indicator. Writers earn FOLLOW/FADE grades that travel with every call they make.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Watch — the market side, live">
    Dashboards cover the tape itself: **Market Pulse** (a regime engine plus a live event feed), 25 world indices, the volatility shelf, breadth, CTA/VRP positioning models, the cross-asset scanner, a 40-theme **thematic map with rotation tracking**, and quarterly **13F flows** from 34 funds.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect — every view drills into every other">
    Nothing is a dead end. A theme drills to its sub-themes, a sub-theme to its stocks, a stock to its chart — with your writers' **calls drawn on the price** and the institutions' 13F flags next to them. A call links back to the exact sentence it came from. A macro event links into the names it touches.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Personalize & push — it comes to you">
    All of it is intersected with **your portfolio and watchlists**. The [Today](/getting-started/today) page answers "what happened to *my* names and why" every morning, and the **Pre-Market Brief** email pushes the same synthesis before the open — fresh calls, position flips, consensus forming, earnings on deck.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Ask — the whole system is queryable">
    [AskAura](/research/ask) sits on top of everything: the corpus, the call ledger, 13F filings, your portfolio, and live web/X data. "What are my writers saying about semis?" or "who flipped short recently?" — answered with citations, charts inline.
  </Step>
</Steps>

The compounding part: the longer it runs, the better it gets. The corpus deepens, track records sharpen, and questions that once meant an hour of tab-hopping become one query.

## What that looks like in practice

* A theme lights up on the rotation view → drill to the sub-theme → see which of its stocks your writers have live calls on → open the chart with those calls marked at their entry bars.
* A name in your portfolio gaps down → Today already shows *why*: the writer who flipped short yesterday, the 13F sellers last quarter, the earnings print behind it.
* You vaguely remember someone making the bull case for uranium → semantic search finds the piece, its extracted thesis, and how that writer's calls have scored since.

## A few notes

* **Data lag.** Most prices currently come from free feeds, delayed roughly 15–20 minutes. Near-real-time paid feeds are on the roadmap. For now, use auramarkets for context, not execution.
* **Active development.** Features ship fast — your feedback directly shapes what comes next.
* **Free and invite-only.** If you're reading this, you probably know me — tell me what you think.
